诺贝尔和平奖获得者
美国的第39任总统。曾任乔治亚州州长。1976年代表民主党当选总统,在任期间,卡特总统主持美国和中华人民共和国正式建立了外交关系。卸任后,卡特总统于1982年成为了埃默里大学的特聘教授并且成立了卡特中心。卡特中心的员工与职员们在卡特总统的领导下积极地化解国际矛盾、推动民主、保护人权、及预防疾病。

第十任中华人民共和国驻美大使馆全权外交大使,曾任驻日大使,外交部副部长。撰写《新时期中国外交全局中的中美关系--兼论中美共建新型大国关系》提出“中美之间要探索出一种合作而非对立、双赢而非“零和”、良性竞争而非恶意博弈的新型大国关系模式”。

中国人民大学重阳金融研究院(人大重阳)成立于2013年1月19日,是重阳投资董事长裘国根先生向母校捐赠并设立教育基金运营的主要资助项目。
作为中国特色新型智库,人大重阳聘请了全球数十位前政要、银行家、知名学者为高级研究员,旨在关注现实、建言国家、服务人民。目前,人大重阳下设7个部门、运营管理3个中心(生态金融研究中心、全球治理研究中心、中美人文交流研究中心)。近年来,人大重阳在金融发展、全球治理、大国关系、宏观政策等研究领域在国内外均具有较高认可度。
